I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has over 15 years of experience working with adolescents, emerging adults, adults. I tailor my approach to your unique needs and goals. Prior to starting private practice, I worked for several years in nonprofits and community mental health centers.

I understand how difficult and scary it can be to find yourself feeling overwhelmed, afraid or lost. Seeking out therapy takes strength and vulnerability and beginning the process requires a tremendous amount of courage. I believe that a trusting and collaborative relationship in therapy is the most important catalyst for successful treatment. I cultivate this trust by making every effort to engage you in working to develop an authentic relationship based in compassion, empathy and humor.

My therapeutic approaches are eclectic in nature, but primarily focus on humanistic and cognitive behavioral therapy. My counseling style focuses on key issues that present themselves in the form of unhealthy themes and patterns. My goal is to help to identify these patterns and refocus your energy on exploring and learning healthier ways of coping.

I also specialize in working with adults struggling with different issues including marital/familial conflict, parenting, men’s issues, navigating divorce, and work/career issues. Regardless of your age or the specific challenges you’re facing, my approach is centered on creating a supportive and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
