About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor. I provide individual and family therapy for adolescents, young adults and adults.
Before entering private practice, I worked as a counselor with adults in a residential rehabilitation program. I then transitioned to working with young adults in an intensive outpatient program where I aided individuals as they navigated the transition from adolescence to adulthood.
No matter if a client is seeking therapy as the result of a specific life event or because of a culmination of factors, it can lead to immense growth and empowerment. I believe that in order to help clients attain their goals, it is important to develop a collaborative, individualized and relaxed environment. Through the introduction of coping skills, I support clients in learning the tools needed to manage their distress, transition through life stages, increase self-understanding and build self-esteem.
- Insurance : I am an out of network, self pay provider.
- Education : I earned my bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and graduate degree from the University of Chicago with an emphasis in addictions treatment.
