About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in the Chicago area. I provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I have over a decade of experience working with youth and young men, including as a camp counselor, academic tutor, and leadership mentor for student-athletes at the University of North Carolina. I completed my clinical internship with SGA Youth and Family Services, working with students at Northwest Middle School as a member of the school’s Behavioral Health Team.

My therapy style is client-centered and collaborative — I work closely with each individual to tailor interventions that meet their unique and changing needs. I take a cognitive-behavioral approach to counseling, as I have found that identifying and adapting harmful thought patterns and behaviors — while reinforcing client strengths and coping skills — leads to enhanced wellbeing.

While working through challenging emotions and conflicts is not easy, therapy holds the power to transform lives. It is with this belief that I enter every session with a client. I practice from a strengths-based approach with a focus on developing and nurturing a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust and authenticity. To this end, I devote time during initial sessions to build rapport and create a safe environment in which clients feel empowered to explore their inner thoughts and emotions.

Let’s walk together along the path to healing.
