About Me

My approach to therapy is rooted in how we relate, connect and interact with others – and how we feel about and see ourselves. Life is complicated. We all feel stuck at times, whether it’s with our partner, our family, our friends, our career or within ourselves. I help my clients slow down and look at what’s getting in the way of being able to move forward. In doing this, I take an active role with clients to explore what is — and how they want it to be.

I specialize in working with couples and have tremendous regard for those who decide to walk through my door. Whether couples come to address communication, conflict, intimacy, infidelity, parenting or life’s many other stressors, our work will center on helping couples better understand their partner and themselves.

With all my clients, I hope to help them make sense of and navigate life’s expected and unexpected twists and turns, while working to access resilience and flexibility in order to find more fulfillment and satisfaction. Adversity comes in many forms and at many times in our lives. With empathy, honesty, trust and an ample dose of humor, I encourage clients to look within, find their strengths and consider new ways of seeing themselves, their situations and others.

I also have a niche working with families managing life-threatening food allergies, an area I understand from my own family experience as well as years working within the food allergy community.
