About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Clinician. I am a dedicated and committed clinician, providing individual therapy to adults across the lifespan. Within our practice’s perinatal program, New Moon Perinatal Therapy, I also specialize in providing support to women and their families who are navigating the transformative phases of the fertility journey, the pregnancy and postpartum periods, and adjustment to parenthood.

I aim to integrate evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while providing empathetic support tailored to fit your unique needs. Whether you’re experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, or adjusting to new challenges during the perinatal period or other life transitions, my highest priority is to provide a safe and validating space where you can explore your emotions, learn coping strategies, and regain a sense of balance in life. I value creating a space where my clients feel both supported and challenged to grow. I recognize the strength and vulnerability it can take to reach out for support and consider it a privilege to aid my clients in navigating the change they are seeking from therapy.

Since becoming a mom myself, I have become increasingly aware of the benefits of mental wellness and support when going through a pregnancy, navigating postpartum and newborn life, and developing a parenting style that values the emotional health of both the parent and child. I have a profound understanding of the complexities of entering parenthood and the identity shift that can follow. We can feel both incredibly overwhelmed and indescribable love and joy within seconds of each other. This chapter in life can also bring up emotions around the way we were parented and want to parent. I strive to provide unwavering support and hold space for these complex emotions through this tough and beautiful journey.

In addition to my perinatal specialty, I have worked with diverse populations in a variety of clinical settings. I have extensive experience working with adults in their 20s and 30s struggling with anxiety and depression. In addition, I am skilled in helping the elderly and retirement-aged population as they navigate emotional, psychological, and social challenges that often accompany aging.

My goal is to foster a therapeutic alliance built on comfort, trust, and respect and provide you with the skills that are essential for coping with life’s greatest challenges. Building tolerance to manage distress will allow you to emerge stronger and more confident. I am here to help promote resilience and embrace the fullness of all of life’s chapters.
