About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Clinician. I also direct our practice’s perinatal program, New Moon Perinatal Therapy, where I specialize in supporting individuals and couples on their reproductive and parenting journeys. My goal is to hold space with warmth, compassion, and understanding. My approach is relatable and conversational, ensuring my clients feel encouraged and nurtured.

My background is rooted in providing therapy to young children and their families. This foundation gave me tremendous insight into healthy child development and the importance of fostering a healthy parent-child bond. Becoming a parent can often spark anxiety, especially when there is unresolved trauma or unmet emotional needs in childhood. Together, we can process these wounds, break negative generational patterns and empower you to parent with confidence. I provide parent coaching for those raising children with ADHD, behavior issues, or strong-willed or anxious children. I help parents feel more in control by equipping them with practical tools and creating a space to process the overwhelming aspects of parenting. The well-being of parents is the fundamental cornerstone of raising healthy and happy children.

Through my own journey to motherhood, I discovered that each person’s reproductive story and path to parenthood involves a range of emotions, from joy and excitement to fear and uncertainty. I understand and help guide my clients through the emotional complexities of trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth, loss, the postpartum period, and parenting.

In addition to my perinatal focus, I have substantial experience in helping individuals navigate life transitions, particularly divorce. The divorce process can be inherently traumatizing, triggering feelings of self-blame and guilt. I can help you manage the intricacies of both the emotional and legal processes to find ways to cope and achieve emotional recovery.

I also specialize in supporting couples. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy and Gottman Relationship techniques to explore healthier communication patterns, deepen intimacy, and strengthen connection. By uncovering and addressing patterns that cause partners to feel unheard and stuck, couples can repair and rebuild, developing healthy and fulfilling relationships.

With empathy and insight, my goal is to equip you with the tools and strength to navigate life’s challenges and transitions. Together, we can honor your story, nurture your unique needs, and find healing and resiliency.
