About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor working with adolescents 14+ and adults who are looking to dive in and explore themselves and their relationships. I also work with couples and family cases (primarily teen and parent) with a strong focus on effective communication and listening.

I believe that a profound and trusting therapeutic relationship comes from both the client and therapist bringing their whole selves into the room. I am open and candid with my clients and will show them bountiful excitement and curiosity as we discuss what is on your mind. I also expect a lot out of my clients and push them to develop that same excitement and curiosity towards themselves.

I specialize in working with relationship-driven people. We are an inherently social species and connections are integral to a holistic picture of mental health. Therapy gives us a venue to learn what is holding us back from those connections and how to balance our internal and external resources in a fulfilling way. I work from a Narrative approach with clients, often exploring where they learned or developed certain mentalities and how those shifted over time. I incorporate Psychodynamic, Adlerian, and Existential work into this approach along with the occasional Cognitive/Dialectical Behavioral Therapy tool when appropriate.
