I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides individual and family therapy. My sessions can be done virtually or in our Northbrook office. I primarily work with adolescents, young adults, and adults addressing anxiety, relationship issues, family dysfunction, self-esteem, communication, depression, and self-exploration. I use an integrative, emotion-focused approach that engages my clients in their own treatment.

I know starting therapy can be daunting and takes courage. I create an environment where clients are able to be their authentic selves free of pressure or judgment. Trust, sensitivity, unconditional positive regard, empowerment, and empathy are at the core of my practice so that each client may feel completely safe in their most challenging and vulnerable moments. I help clients learn healthy coping skills, restructure negative thinking, build confidence within themselves and their relationships, and feel empowered and balanced in their lives. I believe everyone has the ability to change and grow. I am here to support you and take things one step at a time.

• Insurance : Billing under the supervision of Lori Tolan, LCPC, I am an in-network provider for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois PPO.
• Education : I earned my Bachelor’s Degree at Indiana University and my Master’s of Counseling at National Louis University. Before entering the counseling field, I worked as an elementary school teacher in general and special education.
