About Me
I have been practicing as a clinician in the Chicago area for more than 30 years. My experience with high conflict personalities within the family court system generated my interest in the effects of narcissistic abuse and working with the victim whether in a dating or marital relationship, male or female, parent or not, or choosing to remain in the relationship or leave.
It is my experience that life doesn’t always turn out the way we thought it would, whether it’s an unexpected life event or a significant person who deeply disappoints us. We may be left feeling confused, betrayed, and the effects on our life can be profoundly disruptive. It is in that emotional space that I see myself as a guide to help you “digest” what has happened so you can move forward.
The goal is to work toward future choices and decisions that are compassionate to you and that reflect your most authentic self. Based on both personal and professional experience with narcissistic abuse, I bring a level of depth and authenticity in treating those affected by such relationships, and my clients tend to feel that I “get it.”
