I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and provide therapy services for ages 3-40. I have worked with children, adolescents, and young adults worldwide to support various treatment and therapy goals. Being a woman of color originally from India and having trained in dance for many years, my belief is that our identities contain many layers and bring unique experiences to our lives. Some of our struggles are systemic while others are more individual.

I hope to create a safe space of trust and support where you can explore and deepen understanding of all parts of you, your relationships and the world around you. My style of therapy draws from internal family systems and existential counseling. I like to bring humor and lightheartedness in my therapeutic relationships. With children, I often use play and art as mediums to address struggles, process events and develop coping skills. I use an intersectional lens to provide perspective and I am a strong advocate for social justice.

My previous work experience as a teacher, a social emotional learning coach and teacher trainer has prepared me to work with children and family systems as well as actively collaborate with school professionals and higher levels of care providers.

I believe that while different life stages bring different struggles, all of them are equally valid. I am committed to learn more about your context and work in collaboration with you to assist you to heal and lead a happier, healthier life.
